It was filmed in Bergman’s barn on Fårö, with cinematography by Sven Nykvist, and was premiered out of competition at Prix Italia in 1976.

INMAR BERGMAN THROUGH THE CHOREOGRAPHER'S EYE was filmed in an aircraft hangar near Fårö in 2016. Four famous Swedish choreographers get inspired by Ingmar Bergman and his works.
